Every 14 seconds, a child in sub-Saharan Africa loses a parent to AIDS. Of the 11 million children in sub-Saharan Africa who have lost one or both parents to AIDS, nearly two million are under the age of five. It is estimated that 150,000 of those young orphans live in Kenya. Poor rural communities are left to care for these vulnerable children who would otherwise die or be left on the streets to fend for themselves. Overburdened and poor caregivers, usually grandmothers and other relatives, need additional support to help raise healthy, happy children.
GemPack.Net Orphan Support comes in to help expose these great guardiance of these children to the world. We encourage them to join church groups or some kind of organizations that are helping the orphans atleast to ease the burden of having to make a 100% contribution to the welfare of the kids. This makes it easy for us to develop for the group a website and connect it to an online gateway that help them receive donations directly through their websites.
